Greetings:

While Hollow State Newsletter has an illustrious past and the old issues are much sought-after, it needs a future, and that means you.

In the paper newsletter era, it became increasingly difficult to find articles that made sense to print and would fill the finite pages of the medium.  The main reason -- the Internet.  Most of what anyone would want to communicate in a newsletter is better distributed on the 'net.

Another major reason -- a lack of contributors -- not money -- but articles.

We're hoping that the web site approach will encourage contributors.  While many boatanchor hollow-state subjects have been covered one way or another on the list reflectors and other web sites, it's nice to have organized, prepared articles -- and in a form now that can be revised and enhanced.  In addition, there is little concern as to text length and we have plenty of space here for graphics and photos.

So -- If you would like to be immortalized in the now cyber-pages of the Hollow State Newsletter, this would be the time to step forward and make your mark.
