Company History
Coastal Concierge was created in 2004 from a brainstorm between 2 sisters. 
It grew by leaps and bounds in the first 2 years...thanks to a wonderful client base AND
outstanding vendors that helped keep the business running smoothly.

In November of 2005, the company expanded and turned over the
ownership to Katie and Julie - the owners of Cottage Concierges (which was
started in 2001) in South Haven. 

The Company Keeps Growing
Ironically, the idea of both Coastal Concierge and Cottage Concierges
was inspired from a simple conversation. With Cottage Concierges, we were
wondering what two moms could do for a living in a small coastal community
that would allow us to keep our children our main priority. Within a week
of that conversation, we went out to dinner and drafted our business plan
and our first newspaper advertisement. Our first client hired us two weeks later!
The rest, as they say, is history.

Our original intention was to serve the needs of summer residents and cottage owners.
What began as a summer venture has grown to a four season operation.
While summer time remains our busiest season, we currently operate year-round!

Owner Introduction
Julie is a life-long resident of South Haven. She is a graduate of Davenport University
with an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies and worked as a legal secretary prior
to staying home to raise her children. Julie is married and has three children.

Katie was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved to South Haven
in 1997. She received her Bachelors degree from Aquinas College and recently
completed her Masters degree at Michigan State University.
