Alabama Port Mitigation Bank

Alabama Port Mitigation Bank is a privately sponsored mitigation bank committed to the business of restoring, enhancing and conserving high-quality wetlands for future generations.   By providing a balanced approach to protecting our natural resources while assisting economic growth, we offer an immediate, user friendly, and cost effective solution to wetland compensatory mitigation requirements to both private and public entities.

Our Bank consists of approximately 872 acres in southern Mobile County and contains 715 total mitigation credits within Wet Pine Forest & Savanna (614 credits), Cypress & Bottomland Hardwood (99 credits), and Cypress Swamp (2 credits).  Alabama Port Mitigation Bank is permitted (permit No. AL98-04437-B) through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, to offer mitigation banking services within the following Alabama counties: Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, Clarke, Choctaw, Marengo, and Sumter.
