Welcome to Haxtun, Colorado

Haxtun is a quiet small town surrounded by wheat and corn fields.  With a population of about 1000 people.  It boasts friendly people, low crime rate and an abundance of community activities.

Haxtun serves the community with two doctors, a dentist, a full-service rural hospital and K-12 schools.  Haxtun Schools employs 30 teachers with small classrooms.  90 % of Haxtun High School graduates go on to attend college.

A public golf course is close by.  You can enjoy the beautiful park, tennis courts, swimming pool and a horse arena.  A fishing pond is only 2 miles from Haxtun.

Haxtun is 150 miles northeast of Denver on US Highway 6.
